Checkmate Travel was founded by Abigail Stewart, an avid traveler who couldn't wait to share her knowledge with the world.

We specialize in budget travel, because that’s how we like to see the world. However, we will custom make itineraries to fit any budget, large or small.

Whether you’re traveling alone or with a group, things can get pricey. We believe the cost of seeing the world should not be prohibitive.
Our goal is to alleviate the stress of trying to plan the perfect trip, and to ready you mentally and monetarily for the upcoming vacation.

Areas of expertise include (but are not limited to) North America, Central America, South America, The British Isles, New Zealand, and anywhere else we can imagine.
